However in a recent tweet Matt Cutts told that there is no updating rolling now a days but the major Penguin update is coming ahead. But I think it has been started rolling because a lot of guys lost their traffic which is not a usual thing. This update is titled as “next generation of Penguin”. Matt Cutts mentioned this major update is March 2013 and now its so near that every one forgot PageRank Update 2013. Its going to be one of most brutal Google algorithm update in this year. Google Penguin update first came in action  about one year ago.

First Penguin update by Google was rolled in April 2012. Also two minor updates held in May and October 2012. Penguin updates are related to Backlinks. Last year a lot of websites were killed by Google Penguin Update, which were having too much exact match anchor text and link profiles. So if you have made hell of links with exact match anchor text then be prepared for big traffic loss. Lets see when Google Penguin 2.0 Update is officially confirmed by Google. Its is really so sad that you too start facing it. Well, it will happen to all webmasters. But one thing is, Even after 1st penguin update i have seen many blogs and websites spamming internet with links having exact same anchor text, don’t know how they still survives. Well, i haven’t much into SEO so i don’t think that i have to worry. That is why i believe in utilizing time and money in writing quality content instead of wasting them for SEO.

This is good news for anyone that was hit by the Penguin. When Google makes updates like this it can hit webmasters like a ton of bricks, but it’s also good to see that they are offering some suggestions as to how to recover, and that like Panda, the Penguin updates should be able to show you if you’re in compliance or not with Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.

Although a lot of blogs are being penalized, good thing is that many people are trying to write useful content and following the best practices…But, some blogs, even with quality content, have been facing the penalties due to technical issues like those you’ve mentioned..Let’s wish the new updates bring out these quality sites from penalties…

Watching our traffic drop since 5/10, Is it possible that there are some kinks to be worked out during the rollout process that may not be publicized? Hoping it will just bounce back? We’re not doing anything “black hat.”

Its a bad news for anyone who is involved in spamming and black hat practices and Google endeavors to suppress the black hat practices and promotes the genuine white hat methods.

I agree with Justin, that atleast this time people have some clue to recover the website.

BUT its worrying that it will me major updates this time then previous updates. Lets c whats next. All the best to everyone ! Brijesh Kumar
